It was with these little awards that came a lot of traffic. Now, I am kind of embarrassed about this. I really just started this blog as my place to keep my family favorites to I wasn't hunting through the kitchen...and I started it also so that when people called asking me for a recipe for the 13th time, I could just tell them where to go (hehehe). :)
This blog is boring...no fun widgets. No fun header. No blogroll. Nada.
I wasn't worried...my family blog is all about the bling and fun stuff. This blog was just for me...plain and simple.
But with the cute little blog awards came a deer-in-the-headlights feeling. WHAT?! People are actually looking at this blog?!
Kind of embarrassing...really.
But kind of good too. It has made me really get excited about fall and cooking, baking, and creating.
And I am kind of excited you are all out there checking in and maybe trying out a recipe or two...I hope you'll leave a comment and tell me if you have a food blog too so we can exchange. :)

That's pretty much how my food blog got started too. I wanted a place to put the recipes that I try, and share them with my blogging cousins. I was surprised to get non-family readers for the first time - such a fun feeling!

I admit, I peak in every once in a while to see what you're cooking... You had a peanut butter pie thing posted forever ago and, quite frankly, haven't been able to get the picture out of my head in weeks.
So that's why I'm on here today- for your oh-so-yummy looking pie recipe. :0)

Okay, so i just realized that you only posted the pie a few weeks ago... would explain why it's been in my head a few weeks! ha...
