Inside-Out bacon cheeseburgers

Inside-Out bacon cheeseburgers
--everything you love about a bacon cheeseburger, stuffed inside--

I got this recipe from Kraft Foods magazine--it is one of our favorite burger recipes!

1 lb. ground beef
3 Tbsp. KRAFT Ranch Dressing, divided
4 slices OSCAR MAYER Bacon, cooked, crumbled
2 KRAFT Singles, cut into quarters
4 hamburger buns, split, lightly toasted
4 lettuce leaves
8 slices tomato

PREHEAT grill to medium heat. Mix meat and 2 Tbsp. of the dressing. Shape into 8 thin patties. Mix remaining 1 Tbsp. dressing and the bacon. Spoon about 1 Tbsp. of the bacon mixture onto center of each of 4 of the patties; top with 2 Singles quarters and second patty. Pinch edges of patties together to seal.
GRILL patties 7 to 9 min. on each side or until cooked through (160°F).
COVER bottom halves of buns with lettuce and burgers. Top with tomatoes and top halves of buns.

Hey, I've had those before! It's been a long time since we've made them, but I remember they were really good. Steve is a big fan of cheese and having it melted inside sounds great to him; then you don't lose any to the grill or the plate!

Travis thought this recipe looked delicious, so we decided to try it out tonight. And it was so good! We loved the idea of putting ranch dressing in the meat mix, and will be doing that from now on! I also loved how it wasn't as messy, as everything was packed inside. We had a lovely indoor picnic tonight as a result. Thanks for the great recipe idea! --Jenny

I made these last night and they were great. I'm not a big hamburger fan, but these were tasty. I had issues with my cheese dribbling out, but I think it was because I had issues with my hamburger patties. Oh, and I toasted my buns too long. No matter my issues, they still came out great. I even followed your picture and had corn on the cob. Thanks for a GREAT meal idea!

I made these for a dinner party I had and they were a huge hit! I blogged about it too and my friends are now going to your blog and getting the recipe and I hope others too. I found your blog by accident and I love it! Keep the recipes coming! :)
