I made this gravy, substituting hamburger for sausage.(because I'm in the bad habbit of shopping before I deecide that to make, then I adjust the recipes to fit my fridge) I heated up some leftover rice. Then layered my warm rice, a can of green beans (not warm) and my hot yummy gravy. The warm top and bottom warmed up the beans and acutally made it some it was edible immediately without having to cool down. nothing fancy, probably would be good with cheese too. Jadelyn LOVED it.
